Meet Peter – A Developers with Vision
Visionary Entrepreneur, Builder & Community Advocate
Peter Su is a Massachusetts-based entrepreneur, real estate investor, licensed builder, and developer dedicated to delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. As the founder of Vast Developers LLC, he leads with integrity, precision, and a commitment to long-term value.
With extensive hands-on experience in construction and development, Peter combines technical expertise with strategic insight. He holds a Construction Supervisor License (CSL #CS-120587) and a Home Improvement Contractor Registration (#213656), ensuring every project meets strict professional and regulatory standards.
For Peter, development is more than construction. It is about creating functional, durable, and thoughtfully designed spaces that serve both people and communities.
From Circuits to Construction – A Lifelong Journey
Peter’s entrepreneurial journey began early when he co-founded Penan Technologies Inc. in 1996 while still in college. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in 2000, followed by an MBA in Finance in 2001, establishing a strong foundation in both technology and business leadership.
He began his professional career in the high-tech sector, working in VLSI design at Digital Equipment Corporation and later as an application engineer at Teradyne in Boston. These roles strengthened his analytical thinking, technical precision, and systems-driven approach.
In 2001, Peter transitioned into real estate development, starting with his first raw land project and later expanding into modular home construction in New Hampshire. This evolution reflects his adaptability, innovation, and long-term commitment to building meaningful, lasting value.
Leading with Purpose – Business & Community
From 2013 to 2022, Peter served as Director of Vast Dental in Newton, successfully expanding the business and leading a profitable exit. While the financial results were significant, success has always been measured by impact as much as performance. During this period, he dedicated three years to teaching math and physics at a private school in Newton, an experience considered one of the most fulfilling chapters of his professional journey. Teaching provided the opportunity to mentor students, give back to the community, and help shape future generations.
Creativity has also played an important role throughout his career. In 2008, he was recognized as Photographer of the Year by The Pros Entertainment Company, reflecting a strong artistic perspective and appreciation for visual storytelling. That creative foundation continues to influence his approach to design, detail, and execution in every project.
Life Beyond Work – The Human Side
A proud graduate of Lynn English High School (Class of 1996), he now resides in Weston, Massachusetts with his wife and two children. Family remains a central part of his life and values.
Outside of his professional work, he maintains an active lifestyle that includes archery, cycling, running, motorcycling, and working on cars. These pursuits reflect the same focus, discipline, and precision that define his approach to development.
Whether solving complex engineering challenges or restoring a classic engine, he approaches every endeavor with curiosity, resilience, and a continuous drive to learn and improve.
